Securities Finance (FIS SFTC/APEX/Finace) Application Engineer/Administrator/Admin/Administration/Developer/Programmer/Software Engineer, English Speaking

Working Conditions:3- 4 days remote, 1-2 days on site in Zurich

Flexible to work on public Swiss/Zurich holidays where foreign markets are open (eg Aug 1st). Rotation mode.

Skills:

Good practical hands on as IT Engineer, Administrator and/or Developer with "FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform" (formerly Apex Collateral Management/Finace)

Sound business understanding in Securities Lending and Borrowing

Good experience developer knowhow in Java/JMS and SQL

Basics in Agile/SAFe methodology

Duties:

Act as application expert to our Securities Lending and Borrowing team

Run the bank: Assure system availability and stability.

Support our business colleagues on their daily work and run investigations (eg trade processing, P&L/recon breaks)

Raise recommendations on system and process improvements

Generate reports as per business needs

Be an essential stakeholder in fully automizing the Securities Lending and Borrowing business

As a member of our agile organization, involve in daily routines and ceremonies

As an employee of Markets IT you act as local gateway to our Central IT department and to the vendor

Support us in the upgrades to the latest version by advising as senior expert and by conducting tests

Flexible start date (ie immediate to 3 months notice)
