My client is now urgently looking for an Electronic Design Engineer who will be responsible for reporting to our Hardware Electronics Manager and will contribute to the electronic systems design, certification, and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, verify, and validate project functional, safety, and performance requirements, analyse the verification results, and define verification metrics.
• Play an active role in defining and tuning the Hardware Electronic design and development processes and tools.
• Implement product development life cycle according to RTCA/DO-254 guidelines and design electronic hardware in compliance with RTCA/DO-160 and industry standards.
• Assist Embedded software development and system integration.

Requirements:

• Sc. in electrical/electronic engineering (or similar degree).
• 3 years of professional experience (Aerospace or similar industry).
• Experience in processing, communication, and controlling electronic board design life cycle;
• Experience in safety-critical application and hardware protection/monitoring architectures is a plus.
• Experience with Schematic capture and PCB layout board EDA tools, and with grounding, shielding, and EMC design techniques.
• Knowledge of Safety and reliability processes; FTA and FME(C)A, derating analysis; DFM/DFT; Mechanical Packaging; Thermal and cooling design.
• Fluent English language skills are essential, Fluent German or any other language would be beneficial.
