ServiceNow Developer (Permanent)
Location: Manchester Country: UK Rate: £45k - £50k per annum
 

The Service Now Developer will be an integral part of the Technology team at a leading financial services company. They will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to enhance business processes.

Client Details

This is a large-scale insurance firm with a strong global presence. The company boasts a substantial team of professionals dedicated to harnessing growth and financial success. They are based across the globe with the UK offices being based in Stoke and Manchester. Hybrid working can be done from either location for this role.

Description

  • By leveraging IT Service Management best practices and operating the ServiceNow platform as a shared service on behalf of varied organisations across the entire organisation.
  • You will be responsible for the hands-on ServiceNow development experience with assignments covering the full ServiceNow suite of products including IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, Security Operations, Customer Service, Human Resources, Strategic Platform Management and Business Management.
  • By integrating with other systems at the data services level using RESTful API integration and platform optimising the ServiceNow platform to derive high value on behalf of our customers.
  • To own the Service Now development roadmap and produce innovative solutions to meet the business needs

Profile

A successful Service Now Developer should have:

  • Extensive ServiceNow experience in development, configuration, and administration
  • Scripting experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, and/or ReactJS
  • Current experience serving in a technical ServiceNow role for the implementation of features within the ITSM, Security Operations, and/or HR product suites.
  • Strong understanding of the overall ServiceNow platform and Integration tools
  • Experience with Agile development and project methodology.
  • ServiceNow CSA desirable, additional Development Certifications and Micro-Certifications a plus
  • Jelly Scripting experience is desirable
