Gibbs Hybrid requires an experienced DevOps Engineer for a top UK banking client. Prior experience with enterprise-level banking clients is imperative.
Location: Cheshire, 2 days per week onsite
Day Rate: Up to £500 per day
Duration: 6 months initial contract - extensions likely

Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins and Gitlab.
* Design, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
* Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes and improve efficiency.
* Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
* Implement best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.
* Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and procedures.

Requirements:
* Prior experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
* Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
* Proficiency with Jenkins and Gitlab for automation and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
* Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
* Knowledge of Scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Prior experience working for enterprise-level financial services organizations is preferred.
