As part of this initiative, they are establishing a Data and Insights Project to leverage data as a strategic asset for decision-making and enhancing student and staff experiences.
Operating within the Digital, Data & Technology Department (DDaT), our client seeks an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join their team of technical experts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape data architecture standards and strategies, driving innovation and maximizing the value of data assets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the architectural design of the University's Enterprise Data Hub to provide quality-assured data for insights and improved experiences.
- Setting data architecture standards and providing guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Promoting a strategic focus on data within the university community, advocating for the benefits of data architecture.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure effective execution of data aspects within projects and managing associated risks.

Qualifications and Training:
- Degree level education or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field.
- Formal qualifications, certification, or extensive experience in data architecture.
- ITIL Foundation Level Qualification.
- Professional project management qualification (eg, PRINCE2 foundation or equivalent).
