Cyber Security Architect - 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Hybrid Working

Hamilton Barnes is currently representing a global automotive company, who are currently recruiting for a Security Architect on a 6 month contract, with the view to extension for over two years, the role is signed off inside IR35. As a Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our security landscape.

You will be part of a dedicated team driving a security-first culture across multiple agile development squads engaged in diverse projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing strategic guidance, implementing robust security frameworks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation to product teams on security architecture and design, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive security reviews of new and existing products and services, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Stay abreast of current security threats, trends, and operational security best practices, incorporating relevant insights into our security posture.
• Develop and maintain Security Patterns and Reference Architectures to streamline and standardize security practices across the organization.
• Support the analysis of business requirements, translating them into actionable security deliverables to meet organizational objectives.

What you will Ideally Bring:

• Application Security and Threat Modelling- Utilize expertise to conduct threat modelling, identifying risks and integrating security controls into the SDLC.
• Implementation of SDLC Process, Technology, and Automation - Lead robust SDLC implementation, integrating security practices and automation, bolstering applications against threats
• AWS Cloud Security - Design and implement secure AWS architectures, ensuring compliance and effective data protection.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation - Monitor threats, refine strategies, and foster a culture of innovation to strengthen security posture.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Location: Manchester 1 Day Per Week
• Day Rate: £650 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
