Background and Experience

We are looking for an OAT and Non-functional Test Lead to join one of our client teams:

• Working across multiple delivery teams to plan the end-to-end test strategy, put in place the core test framework and review individual test plans
• Responsible for the overall NFT test plan design and processes, applying, articulating, and constructing business specific end to end scenarios, defining standards for the development of test scripts, deployment and reuse
• Work with business analysts to agree acceptance criteria for testing complex data processing and analytic requirements
• Hands-on experience on both execution and assurance of both performance and Operational Readiness testing techniques, taking a proactive approach to understanding risks as well as optimising and improving the quality of the products
• Thorough understanding of validating infrastructure components and hands on experience of Service Management monitoring tools Proven experience on performance test modelling and bench-marking
• Experience of using both enterprise and open-source tooling, together with the associated protocols
• Ability to implement testing frameworks to support all aspects of performance testing
• Lead and organise investigative and diagnostic work collaborating with developers and delivery leads
• Proactively identifying and mitigating risk through a practical, and iterative testing approach, enabling the implementation of corrective and/or preventive actions for complex issues
• Co-ordinating expert insight from the central functional, technical, and non-functional test managers to resolve issues
• Comfortable with creating test strategies but also testing where required when against tight deadlines
• Experience of large-scale M365, Citrix, endpoint, resilience, secure operating environments for government, national infrastructure, defence or similar
