Senior C# Developer (Endur OpenLink) (Contract)
Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £800 - £850 per day + (Umbrella) + 3 Days onsite per week
 

Job Title: Senior C# Developer (Endur OpenLink): £850 (Umbrella) + 3 Days onsite per week (London)

Client Overview: We are partnering with a leading global commodities firm, renowned for its excellence in Energy and Metals businesses.

In search of an innovative Senior Developer, our client values proactive individuals with a deep understanding of C# development and a track record in configuring and supporting Endur OpenLink.

Person Specification:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in providing technical support for Endur OpenLink systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of trading operations, Straight-Through Processing (STP), Risk management, and operational processes.
  • Strong database acumen, encompassing Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft SQLServer T-SQL.
  • Prior experience in developing desktop and service-based applications using .NET tools, particularly C#, .NET, and Blazor, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of commodity markets, including gas, power, oil, FX, base metals, and precious metals, is highly beneficial.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, enabling effective investigation, analysis, and troubleshooting.

Role Scope:

  • Provide support for Endur OpenLink and internal applications, such as OMS, FX APIs, Front/Middle/Back Office, and Risk apps.
  • Collaborate with the risk team to configure Endur OpenLink according to business requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues, coordinating with development teams as necessary.
  • Lead the analysis, implementation, development, and testing of various systems.
  • Contribute to upgrading the technology stack, including Endur upgrades, .NET 6/.NET 7, and web-based applications.
  • Understand existing Oracle PL/SQL database structures, proposing enhancements or rectifying bugs as needed.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to enhance the development setup, incorporating best practices in DevOps, Octopus, and CI/CD methodologies
