Location: Ideally North West England (other client locations could be a possibility)
Length: 6 months initial contract - extensions are likely

Job Description:
As an experienced Data Leakage Investigator, you will support the DLP Cyber Operations with the strategic design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives and by processing security alerts generated by the various monitoring tools and technologies operated by the team in order to identify potential instances of data loss/exfiltration and other activity which may pose a potential Insider Threat risk, at an enterprise level.

Primary Responsibilities
Daily processing of security alerts in relation to potential data loss/exfiltration within prescribed timelines
Escalation of security alerts for review by business line management
Escalation of security concerns to ITMS management and Group Investigations Tasking & Co-ordination Bureau (TCB) for formal investigation
Daily processing of other staff related security incidents which could indicate a potential Insider Threat risk

Technical Skills & Competencies
5+ years of experience in data leakage analysis or data loss prevention for an enterprise network.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Excellent Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to identify trends and patterns in data
Familiarity with Risk scoring and threat analysis tools
Experience writing, testing, and deploying UAM signatures
Experience with User and Entity Behaviour Analytics
Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) or Network Operation Center (NOC)
Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) security controls
Familiarity with SIEM tools and Security Controls and Tooling
Experience of dealing with incident, problem and change management processes.

Desirable:
Previous experience in the financial sector
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related discipline
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) - desirable
ISO27001
Experience or working knowledge with one of Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, Zscaler DLP, ServiceNow DLP and Proofpoint DLP (If you have experience in several of these technologies, it will be beneficial, but solid knowledge in just one is sufficient to be considered)
