Front End Developer (React.js/Redux) - Leeds/London

Work Model - Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Rate - 300/day inside IR35

Duration: 6 - 12 months

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Developer with a passion for crafting seamless web applications to join our Agile team. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in building high-traffic eCommerce and service web applications that meet the sophisticated needs of our business and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop highly responsive, web-based user interfaces using React.js and Redux.
• Construct resilient and maintainable code that will be continuously tested, deployed, and scaled.
• Implement thorough testing across the application (unit, functional, integration, visual regression, and performance) to ensure quality and reliability.
• Collaborate within a self-organizing, cross-functional team to drive technical decisions and deliver value.
• Promote and adhere to best practices in development, including TDD, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
• Optimize web applications focusing on performance, security, and resilience.
• Advocate for and lead improvements in the codebase, influencing others and staying aligned with the technical strategy.
• Coach and mentor junior developers, fostering an environment of growth and learning.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building complex Front End applications using React/Redux.
• Solid understanding and application of programming principles and development best practices.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or Concourse and familiarity with testing frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize web applications for maximum speed, security, and scalability.
• Eager to propose and implement improvements and learn from the wider development community.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, GraphQL, and Cypress is highly desirable.
• Additional Skills:
• Prior experience with identity management, implementing MFA, and rolling out features such as SSO using tools like Okta and Auth0.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, authentication, and authorization technologies (JWT, SAML Token).
• Experience with identity and access management is required.
