We are looking for Power BI Architect in Leeds location for contract with one of our leading client.

Job Summary:

The Power BI Architect will lead the design and development of Power BI solutions. This role requires deep expertise in data visualization, data modelling, and Power BI service integration, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture and security guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a secure Power BI service architecture within the Azure and AWS ecosystem.
• Architect solutions to integrate with AWS services, specifically AWS Lambda, RDS PostgreSQL, and EC2 Windows Servers.
• Establish and enforce Power BI development standards, best practices, and system performance tuning.
• Work with the BI team to ensure Row-Level Security (RLS) is implemented and audit tables in Power BI are properly logged.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Oversee VPC peering and ensure secure data exchange between Azure and AWS services.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Architect, with expertise in cloud architectures involving Azure and AWS.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, particularly in relation to Power BI integration.
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments, including experience with gateway configurations.
• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, and Power BI Desktop.
• Ability to lead a team, providing guidance and mentoring to developers.
