Cutover Manager (On prem to Oracle)

£600 - £625 outside IR35

Remote with occasional travel to Sheffield

Clearence needed: NVPP3

Start date: 1st July

I am currently looking for a Cutover Manager who has previous experience transitioning from Oracle On-Prem to Oracle Cloud. My client is currently in the planning and discovery phase where an internal colleague is working alongside the Test manager to scope out the piece of work.

Due to security vulnerabilities, they are keen to bring on someone with vast knowledge in On-prem transitions. This particular piece of work will benefit the financial team.

Role Requirements:

• An understanding of key business issues/drivers that will help with pursuing the transformation
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to land key decisions with senior leaders and key business stakeholders.
• Experience in Oracle Cloud ERP implementation
• Deep understanding of Data migration cycles - Extract, Transform, Load, reconciliation etc.
• Understanding of Oracle finance systems would be ideal
• Experience identifying, diagnosing and resolving issues independently; taking initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
• Proven track record of moving from Oracle on-prem to Oracle Cloud Solutions
• Strong experience liaising with suppliers and stakeholders
• Release & configuration experience would be desirable. Also, any experience in test management would be great!
