About the Client :

A leading financial related institution is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cyber Security Lead to join the team. They are a leader in their field, with dynamic growth plans .

Cyber Security Lead - The Role:

As the Cyber Security Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading and growing the cybersecurity team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust cybersecurity strategies to protect the companies technology infrastructure, sensitive data, and intellectual property. This role involves collaborating with various departments, staying abreast of the latest cyber threats, and ensuring that cybersecurity measures align with industry best practices.

Cyber Security Lead - Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy

- Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures

- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments

Incident Response:

- Develop and oversee incident response plans

- Lead investigations into cybersecurity incidents and breaches

- Implement proactive measures to prevent future incidents

Security Awareness:

- Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness among staff

- Conduct informal training programmes to enhance cybersecurity knowledge across the company

- Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field nice to have but not mandatory

- Proven experience in a leadership role within cybersecurity

- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance

- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and Azure are highly desirable

- Knowledge of Purview or MS 365 Compliance and Azure security technologies

- SIEM/RBAC/Defender/Sentinel etc

Skills and Competencies:

- Exceptional leadership and communication skills

- In-depth understanding of current cybersecurity threats and trends

- Experience with security tools and technologies

- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the company
