Your new company
Hays are partnering with a large engineering consultancy to support in the recruitment for a new leadership role that sits within their Technology Solutions Delivery & Support team. The role is permanent and paying circa £80,000pa depending on experience, but may flex for the right person. The role will involve some travel to your local client site (offices across the UK) - Bristol - however the role will be mostly home based. You will also need to have a current and valid SC clearance, or the ability to obtain this.

Your new role
The role is a customer facing role to spearhead efforts and provide technical leadership for clients' IT transformation activities. You'll provide effective leadership and direction and develop the capabilities of the delivery & support team. You'll contribute to best practice, manage the resourcing of the team and provide technical leadership across various projects, whilst also developing plans for future projects.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need to have worked in a similar senior role overseeing and driving similar initiatives, ideally within the defence, IT, government sector. You'll have broad exposure across solution & service architecture, service management, operations & delivery, IT system implementation and life cycle management. You'll have fantastic communication skills and be effective at liaising with external stakeholders and customers.
