Global IT Solutions Company requires a suitably experienced Cloud FinOps Consultant for their client based in London.

This role is predominantly remote working with occasional site visits in London.

This Cloud FinOps Consultant role assists our customers achieve their financial goals by providing expert guidance and solutions to optimise their cloud infrastructure costs.

This role will be the technical face of our service to the customer and will be responsible for identifying and implementing cutting-edge technologies and best practices, this includes cost optimisation, budget management and financial reporting, to help customers understand and manage their cloud services.

Day Rate: £550.00 Day Rate - Inside IR35

Key skills & Responsibilities

• Be a thought leader/evangelist for Cloud FinOps, driving customer platform modernisation & optimization through cost optimisation, budget management, financial reporting, compliance with financial regulations and policies, and monitoring and reporting on cloud infrastructure costs and usage.
• Meet and collaborate with customer to understand their cloud infrastructure costs, usage patterns and priorities, providing recommendations and solutions that will help optimise costs, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Build meaningful and lasting relationships with senior stakeholders within our partner community in the Cloud FinOps space.
• Multiple years of experience in the Information Technology market with a proven track record of working in a senior technical role.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, and industry trends.
• Proven experience interacting and engaging with C-level executives, and an ability to communicate complex technical and financial concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Experience with cloud financial management, including cost optimization, budget management, financial reporting, and compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze customer's cloud infrastructure costs and usage patterns and provide recommendations and solutions that will help reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Proven experience working with a variety of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience in developing and launching professional and managed services products.
• Certifications in cloud financial management and cost optimization are a plus.
