QA Engineer

A Engineer (Data) - Hybrid - 3 days pw - London - Inside IR35 £435 per day.

This QA engineer role encompasses some data analysis responsibilities will require candidates to be familiar with testing, networks, data analysis/data collection.

You will be working in a team that deals with all tracking and tagging for digital behaviour across the client's digital products. This specific team looks after internal data collectors and social media.
They currently have had some issues around data collection and QA and so putting putting in place processes, checks and some automated testing to address these issues. They are now looking for a QA engineer to help assist in checking corrections aren't failing and to help to do some triage work and determine where the problems lie.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Tag management implementation experience, basic JavaScript awareness (using JavaScript for network)
• Setup and ongoing administration of automated testing of tracking solutions via
• Observe Point, coordinate anomaly reporting with Data Engineers
• Some working knowledge of SQL
• Ability to understand data flows from digital products - web & app - in order reconcile tracking requirements against specification
• Experience in configuring automated test scenarios - ideally within Analytics tracking processes (Observe Point experience is a nice to have)
• Act as a 1st stage responder - triaging problems when they occur to find suitable solutions
• Working with Charles Proxy to run network calls and debug programmes
• Working with developers to test new versions of applications and product releases
• HTTP Tracking experience and network debugging
• Triaging problems with relevant teams to recognise where issues arise
• Data collection/debugging
• Analysing third party data to assess suitability and where system issues arise during the process

The suitable candidate will have experience with:

• Test automation
• Basic knowledge of Javascript
• SQL querying
• Ad network traffic and testing
• Tag Management (nice to have)
• Tealium (nice to have
• ObservePoint (nice to have)

2 stage interview process, 1 30 minute MS teams call then 1 hr technical screening, then offer!
