Are you passionate about technology and looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment? An independent Insurance Underwriter is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to join their London based team. As the IT Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the firms technological capabilities and supporting various aspects of business operations. You will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making and manage key IT functions.

The IT Analyst role is a hybrid position which will require working from the Central London based office a minimum of 2 days a week (ideally 3-4 days a week). Given the broad nature of the IT Analyst position, the salary on offer is between £45,000 - £90,000 depending on experience.

The IT Analyst role would suit someone who is passionate about IT, but isn't necessarily a specialist. Applications are welcome from a variety of backgrounds such as 1st Line Support Analysts, Change Analysts or IT Management (however no management/leadership is involved).

IT Analyst Responsibilities:

• IT Budget Planning and Monitoring
• SLA/KPI Monitoring of outsourced IT Service Desk
• Uphold Cyber/Information Security framework
• Ensure IT Documentation Suite is up-to-date
• Act as point person for IT Audits
• Manage Technological Change procedures
• Handle Leavers/Joiners user management across systems
• Data Management including asset tracking
• Oversight of Outsourcing Management
• KRI Reporting to Internal Risk Committees
• Ensure Operational Resilience from an IT perspective

IT Analyst Business Support:

• Develop strong relationships with Managing Agency IT departments
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Finance teams
• Provide open communication and support to all staff members

IT Analyst Personal Specification:

• Technical skills including general IT knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Package, especially Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Analytical thinker with proven experience in a similar role/s
• Understanding of insurance industry is beneficial
