Hamilton Barnes is representing a leading bank who are looking to hire multiple Lead Java Full Stack Engineers.

We are seeking a talented Java Full Stack Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team for a 6-month contract opportunity based in Glasgow. As a Java Full Stack Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in an agile team, focusing on enhancing, constructing, and delivering top-tier technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
  • Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
  • Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies

Skills/Experience:

  • Proficient in executing creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches.
  • Experience in developing secure and high-quality production code, as well as reviewing and debugging code written by others.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber for Unit Testing and Automation Testing.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: Glasgow
  • Day Rate: Up to £500 Per Day (Inside IR35)
