Technical Support Consultant (PL/SQL) (Permanent)

Location: Didcot Country: UK Rate: £45k - 50k
 

Technical Support Consultant
location: Didcot, fully remote but may require some site visits
Pay rate: £45,000-£50,000p/a
Hours: Standard office hours

Our client have an exciting position available for a Full time Technical Support Consultant based

Mandatory Requirements
3+ years Oracle PLSQL experience Database development and design experience
Logical and analytical problem-solving skills
Customer service focussed, with ability to communicate complex issues in clear and concise language to our clients
1+ years Microsoft .NET development experience VB.NET or C#, Web services and XML.
Knowledge/Understanding of ERP, Accounts Receivables or Credit Management
Ability to clearly document processes and technical subject manner and ability to liaise with technical and business colleagues
Confident and professional telephone manner Role Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Consultant you will be working within our support and development environment working closely with our Operations Director
You will be responding to incoming emails/calls and investigating and resolving reported issues using your application and database skills
Developing new procedures/packages in PLSQL to enhance our customers usage experience
You will work closely with our Product Director, to translate new product requirements to technical specifications for our development team
You may be required to undertake small development changes using your Microsoft .NET skills

Our core software is developed in Appeon PowerBuilder and Microsoft .NET and runs on an Oracle or Tibero database.
