SAP Data Management Workstream Manager - Hybrid - Outside IR35 - €1000/day - ASAP start

bluewaveSELECT are supporting a global manufacturing client with am ongoing rollout of S/4HANA, Ariba, MDG, and MES - we are looking for a Data Management Leader to manage the workstream.

The client is based in Nordics, with the focus for this programme phase initially for French manufacturing plants - so French speaking is highly preferable, but not an absolute requirement. UK or EU citizens only at this time.

The role is hybrid; remote working with 1 week per month EU site visit (expensed) - as with many projects this could increase in frequency around go-live/cutover etc.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 engagements leading Data Management Workstream, on multi-country & multi-year programs
• 10 years operating at leadership level
• Proven extensive experience delivering across S/4HANA, SAP MDG, Ariba and Manufacturing Execution Systems
• Experience working in process manufacturing industry
• Experience with Syniti Data Management Tool
• Experience within a dual implementation of both SAP & non-SAP MES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The data management workstream is responsible for the identification and cataloguing of all organisation data, master data and transaction data (including open items, balances, etc.) in scope of the Program; then the following key activities:

• Establishment of data standards and owners for each of the objects in scope
• Creation of a data cleansing plan for execution by our business team members
• Creation and maintenance of the program's data migration strategy, approach and plan (including the identification of archiving requirements in source and target systems);
• Definition of data transformation rules for validation in collaboration with process/functional teams and approval by the data owners;
• Specification and oversight of developments for data conversions and reconciliation reports per object;
• Unit and complete load testing of the ETL process through performance of test data loads;
• Management of master data management and governance processes;
• Plan and manage workstream team members (both internal and third party) to deliver these responsibilities and deliverables, coordinating activities with other Program workstreams
• Produce and maintain the workstream plan and provide regular status reports
• Overall responsibility and accountability for Data Management and planning and executing data activities
• Builds Data Work plans, manages Risks/Issues/Change Requests
• MDM/MDG - Design and implement data architecture, master data management and master data governance

Data migration - Specify system environment plan for trial/test loads

• Define data migration processes, templates, tools
• Design and develop data migration programs (Syniti ETL objects, migration cockpit)
• Defines overall data dependency by object and conversion critical path
• Liaise across Project Teams and Business Stakeholders
• Drive Trial/Go-Live execution, document results, and provide status
• Manages data defects
• Coordinates pre- and post-load data validation and documentation of trial loads Analytics/Reporting
• Manage design and implementation of Analytics and Reporting solution

Archiving

• Manage design and implementation of data archiving solution
