Commercial Manager - IT - Part time - Outside IR35

We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Commercial Manager to work part time for one of our Digital & Data Organisations. The role will be part time - between 2-4 days - TBC.

Role Details

Procurement:

Procurement strategy and tender pack development. Management of full procurement process using E-procurement system.

Commercial Contract Management:

Complying with departmental toolkit to deliver best practice. Supporting Operational Contract Managers and working in Tandem with them to drive delivery and value. Supplier relationship management and more general supplier engagement.

Essential skills & Experience:

Central government procurement experience as a key leader within Commercial where key achievements centred on cost savings and value for money.

Digital & Technology category knowledge.

Understanding and clarifying the ability to terminate or amend current contracts if they are no longer fit for purpose;

Designing and implementing approaches which ensure effective delivery of the right outcome.

Proficient in the use of CCS frameworks, including Networks Services, Technology Services, and the digital marketplace (DOS and G-Cloud);

Good knowledge of EU Procurement Legislation.

This role is based in London - Hybrid working is offered.
