Why is our Application Security team the next step for you?

As part of this team, you will be responsible for application security across all Worldpay platforms and gateways. The role covers both BAU applications and the design and implementation of new or amended applications solutions.

The role will focus heavily on delivering secure applications via our global development centres and third party developers. A key part of the role will be integrating with the development teams to ensure they fully integrate the SSDLC into their development process, with a focus on secure design and coding, threat modelling, static, dynamic code analysis and developer training.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

In this role, you will act as our application security subject matter expert and lead security engagements with development teams and embed security into the SDLC. You will work with DevOps teams to ensure security requirements and secure development are incorporated into the processes, as well as develop and manage the delivery of technical security standards.

You will be responsible for ensuring that security is integrated into the global payment applications as well as critical business applications. Coordinating and supporting the delivery of security solutions from inception, proof of concept, testing and implementation, and hand over to Security Operations are part of the role. You will engage with enterprise architects to ensure the security architecture is aligned with the business strategy, as well as ensure that any strategy set adheres to the Corporate Security Policy as well as compliance standards such as PCI DSS, PA DSS, DPA, FSA, SAS70, ISO/IEC 27001 and SOX where relevant.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

Experience working within security design and assurance, as well as experience working on complex IT delivery projects. You will have software development experience (ideally in Java) and proven experience in engineering covering initiation, planning, managing build and handover to operations. You will have experience identifying, assessing and providing remediation options for application and technology related security risks, experience providing governance and validating compliance of internal and external teams providing security services.
