Position Overview:

My client is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dublin for a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension. If you're passionate about managing projects from inception to completion, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing exceptional technical support, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects with comprehensive oversight from start to finish, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams throughout project life cycles, from planning to implementation.
  • Proactively communicate with all involved parties to offer support, address issues, devise solutions, and enhance efficiency.
  • Evaluate proposed project modifications, facilitating discussions to approve and implement beneficial changes.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for reported incidents.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting technical incidents within Cisco and/or Fortinet environments.
  • Proficiency in Cisco ISE, Firepower, Wireless, and DNAC, along with Cisco Routing and Switching.
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet Fortigate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
  • Previous success delivering networking and security solutions in Cisco and Fortinet environments.
  • Practical knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
  • Familiarity with MPLS technologies, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN.
